When Finning CAT moved to a new warehouse facility in Baldonnell, County Dublin they chose Storage Systems Limited to provide a cost-effective space spacing storage solution to house all their extensive range of CAT parts. This installation comprises of Dexion steel shelving and longspan racking supported mezzanine floor 30m long x 20m wide.
The mezzanine floor is supported on 200 bays of our HI280 Shelving 2.5m high x 1m wide and 100 bays of P90 Longspan racking 2.5m high. The HI-280 shelving has varying depths and storage levels to suit small CAT parts and the long span racking is designed to store bulkier CAT parts. To enhance the installation all handrails on the mezzanine floor were finished in yellow and black which are caterpillars corporate colours while lighting and emergency lighting to the underside of the mezzanine floor was completed by Storage Systems.
In addition, 5m high Dexion P-90 Pallet Racking and 4m high Cantilever Arm Racks were installed to accommodate palletised goods and long goods.
