Storage Systems Limited has completed a large Structural Steel Mezzanine Floor, Pallet Racking and Cantilever Racking fitout for Irish Rail at their sleeper depot in Portlaoise, Co. Laois.
This installation comprises of Dexion P-90 Pallet Racking 5m high x 2.7m wide with 3 beam levels decked with steel mesh panels used for storing euro pallets which are accessed by conventional forklift trucks. All uprights are fitted with column protectors to reduce collision damage.
In conjunction with the Pallet Racking, a single tier structural steel mezzanine floor is installed. The mezzanine floor is complete with up and over pallet gate, a steel staircase with mid landing and all necessary safety handrails.
To complete this project, Cantilever Racking 27m long x 1.5m deep x 5m high fitted with 3 carrying arms and base is installed for the storage of long tubes and steel pipes.
