Medtronic appointed Storage Systems Limited to provide a high-density mobile shelving storage solution to house 4 different sizes of clinical medical storage boxes for their Galway facility. 600 bays of compactus mobile shelving were installed in 4 different block locations on a mezzanine floor in their central warehouse.
This installation comprises of Dexion HI280 shortspan, HI280 longspan and Bruynzeel Sysco Shelving, all bays are 2.7m high in various depths, widths and shelf storage levels suited towards the different sized boxes been stored. All shelf levels are easily accessed by safety mobile step ladders supplied by Storage Systems. The total storage capacity of this installation is 8,500 medical boxes.
